About Us

The National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and redefine the mental health and well being of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander individuals and communities in the United States through training, programs, policy & advocacy, centering those with lived experience.

NAAPIMHA envisions mental wellness for all people; a world where mental health is destigmatized and AANHPI individuals and communities are able to access the care and information they need for their well-being.

Donate Today to Declare that AANHPI Mental Health Matters.

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month! This month is a time for us to honor the strength, stories, and resiliency of our communities while holding at the same time the realities of our communities’ risks, issues, and disparities. We invite you to be part of creating a future where AANHPI mental health and wellness are culturally rooted, accessible, and centered in belonging.

The National Asian-American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA) is spearheading the celebration of the 5th Annual National AANHPI Mental Health Day on May 10th, 2025.

NAAPIMHA’s mission is to promote the mental health and well-being of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Through our programs, we provide affirming, culturally responsive mental health training and learning opportunities to AANHPI individuals. Together, we’re breaking generational stigma, fostering healing, creating visibility, and building a community where every voice matters.

But we can’t do this without you.
