There is a critical need to improve research on AANHPIs that focuses on a whole health approach to care. This includes assessing the impact of mental health, physical health and other social determinants of health. This will be the beginning of a series of conference with the intent of hosting a conferences in San Francisco in 2018 and Hawaii in 2019 to insure meaningful inclusion of Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders.
The conference will:
- Highlight successful models of integrated care for AANHPIs
- Identify areas for future research and policy recommendations
- Provide opportunity for students to engage with experienced researchers
- Develop research agenda that actively engages community members and consumers
Researchers, providers, consumers, students, community members, policy makers, administrators, anyone interested in improving health outcomes for AANHPIs
