FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

The National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association invites you to participate in a free Youth Mental Health First Aid certificate virtual training on Thursday, July 18th & Thursday, July 25th from 2pm-6pm ET/ 11am - 3pmPT

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour training course that is designed to teach parents, family members, and caregivers how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. Registration is free and includes digital training materials needed for the course.

Registration is due July 5th (or until space is reached) and a 2-hour self paced course is due prior to the training.

This course is valued at $170. Thanks to a training grant from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration, learners may attend at no charge.
